JAKE’S LAKE

Our oldest Lake on site, around 1 acre in size, depths from 2ft-6ft. Very old lake which has not been fished much over the years. The stock is still pretty unknown although we have a rough idea of numbers. The lake has not been netted. We have caught Common's, Mirror's, Ghosty's and Glass Carp to low doubles, Perch to 3lb, Crucian, Gudgeon, Roach, Rudd, Pike and Bream.

The stock is primarily a big head of Carp, but there are a good head of silvers as well as some surprises. Very good sport on this lake on a variety of tactics. The makeup of the bottom is mainly silt, but there are lots of underwater features such as variations in depth, and solid hard gravel and clay spots. The lake has been de-snagged and a few overhanging trees removed to allow for casting.

Please note as of yet we are not selling this as a Specimen water as we are not sure what exactly is lurking in there. Bookings will be lake exclusive for up to 3 anglers for either 24 or 48 hours.

Landing equipment must be dipped before fishing.

Any type of fishing is allowed providing the simple rules are followed and your setup is strong enough should you hook into a decent Carp.
