CHARLIE’S LAKE

Around 1.5 acre in size, depths from 3ft-15ft average 10ft.

Beautiful intimate lake with lots of features including some amazing margins, a small island in the middle of the lake, lily pads, reed beds, steep drop-offs, over-hanging trees and a constant inlet of water. The make up of the bottom is mainly clay, with a few gravel and silt patches dotted around.

There are 3x double pegs and a toilet.

​

Each peg comes with its own log burner, weigh station, binbag and rubber mallet. Firewood and bait are available to purchase onsite.

​

Can accommodate up to 4 anglers using 3 rods each or 6 anglers using 2 rods each. 

60 plus beautiful English carp up to 26lb+, plus a few surprises. There are still Carp in this lake that have never been on the bank. We are expecting a good head of 20lb plus fish this year and possibly a 30lber! The majority of the stock are original, with only 10 stockies from Chilston fish farm added at c4 in 2018, these have settled in extremely well and have all achieved amazing weight gains.

Charlie's also has a good head of BIG specimen Perch.

Perch fishing is closed on Charlie's until Winter 2022 to allow new fish to come through and the existing stock to grow unpressured.

No Perch fishing at all. Anyone caught doing so will be asked to leave without a refund and banned for life from the fishery.
