SHAUN’S LAKE

Around 1 acre in size, depths from 3ft-9ft average 7ft.

Beautiful small intimate lake with lots of features including a small island in the middle of the lake, lily pads, reed beds, shelves, gravel spots and a constant inlet of water. The make up of the bottom is mainly clay, with a few gravel patches dotted around.

There are 2 double pegs on this lake.

​

Each peg comes with its own log burner, weigh station, binbag and rubber mallet. Firewood and bait are available to purchase onsite.

​

Can accommodate up to 4 anglers using 2 rods. 

​

This lake is one of our newer water's, it was dug in 2020 and has been stocked with carp from on site aswell as 10 c5 stockies from Chilston fish farm and a few big c6's from Frontline Fish.

There are around 40 beautiful English carp from 15-30lb, plus a few surprises. There are 5 known 20's already, with a good few nudging the 20lb mark. The c6's were stocked between 27-29lb and we are expecting them to all be over 30lb this year.

The lake record carp currently stands at 28lb 11oz.

We have also stocked this lake with a big head of Crucian Carp from on site up to 3lb and are expecting some massive Crucian's from this water.
